Production Manager | Midlands
The Opportunity
An established and highly regarded Midlands-based manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Production Manager to join its leadership team. With over 45 years in operation, the business supplies OEM customers across Europe and has built a strong reputation for quality, reliability, and continuous improvement.
Reporting directly to the GM, you will lead the production function within a modern manufacturing facility focused on assembly, testing, and distribution activities.
Key Responsibilities
As Production Manager you will be responsible for:
- Leading and coordinating all day-to-day production & warehouse operations.
- Managing, motivating, and developing production teams to achieve operational objectives.
- Ensuring production schedules are delivered in line with customer demand and business requirements.
- Monitoring key performance indicators and implementing initiatives to improve productivity, efficiency, and quality.
- Driving continuous improvement and Lean manufacturing activities across the operation.
- Collaborating closely with Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, and Supply Chain teams.
- Managing workforce planning, training, performance management, and employee development.
- Supporting operational excellence initiatives and identifying opportunities for process optimisation.
Candidate Requirements
As Production Manager you will possess:
- A degree qualification in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations etc or a trades background along with 3+ years production mgt experience
- Excellent leadership, people management, and team development skills.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing & C I methodologies and experience using SAP or similar ERP systems

- Salary: €60,000 – €70,000
