Product Specialist – Fencing Solutions (Field Sales Focus)
This is a frontline, field-based sales role with a clear focus on driving revenue growth, developing new business, and increasing market share across our fencing portfolio. Identifying opportunities, winning new business, and converting pipeline through strong customer engagement and technical sales expertise. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on being in front of customers, winning deals, and directly impacting sales performance and category growth.
Responsibilities
- Own and develop sales activity within the fencing category
- Actively identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities
- Support delivery of revenue and margin growth targets
- Influence buying decisions through proactive customer engagement and solution selling
- Spend the majority of your time in the field with contractors, installers, merchants, and end users
- Act as a key sales contact for customers within the fencing category Deliver product demonstrations and on-site support to secure orders
- Work closely with the Category / Portfolio Growth Manager to build and convert a strong sales pipeline
- Follow up on leads, quotations, and project opportunities to drive conversion
- Represent the business at trade events, exhibitions, and customer meetings
- Contribute to shaping sales strategy and product development
- Align field activity with wider sales strategy and growth objectives Support a high-performance, sales-led culture
About You
- Proven experience in a field sales, technical sales, or business development role
- Strong track record of winning new business and driving revenue growth
- Knowledge of fencing, construction, agriculture, or related industries
- Confident, commercially driven, and target-focused
- Strong relationship builder with excellent influencing skills
- Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, autonomous field role
- Willing to travel extensively, including occasional events @ weekends
