Practice Nurse (Agency) – Gorey, Co. Wexford

Location: Gorey, Co. Wexford
Hours: 3 hours every Friday (8:00 am – 11:00 am)
Pay Rate: €50 per hour

FRS Recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of a new medical practice in Gorey for an experienced Practice Nurse to join the team on an agency basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse looking for flexible, part-time hours in a modern GP practice. Initially, the role will involve working 3 hours every Friday, with the potential for additional hours as the practice grows.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out phlebotomy (blood collection).

• Providing high-quality nursing care within a GP practice setting.

• Supporting the day-to-day clinical operations of the practice.

• Delivering safe, patient-centred care while working independently.

Requirements

• Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).

• Previous experience working in a GP practice or a similar primary care setting.

• Competent in phlebotomy and confident carrying out routine Practice Nurse duties.

• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

• You must be willing to complete the compliance process before commencing in this role
