Our client supplies engineering services to the milling and pelleting industries throughout Ireland. They are currently seeking to employ a Maintenance / Plant Fitter to join their team to work on sites in Monaghan, Cavan, Longford, Tryone and Armagh.
Working as part of the Maintenance and Servicing Team, as a Maintenance Fitter you will have a sound mechanical knowledge and at least two years relevant experience gained in a maintenance fitter environment.
The candidate will be required to:
- Provide general maintenance services at a feed milling plans in the region.
- A practical approach to fault finding together with a sound understanding of preventative maintenance
- Ability to manage time and perform duties to strict customer driven deadlines
The role requires flexibility as some maintenance may take place on occasional Saturdays or during mill downtime. Living in the Monaghan / Cavan area ideally.
Hours of work are generally straight days e.g. 8:00 am to 17:00 with some Saturday as required. Equipped company vehicle will be supplied
