Front of Counter Pharmacy Manager - Co. Galway (30 minutes from Galway City)

Duties and Responsibilities:
- To maintain good stock control, including rotation of stock, maintaining appropriate stock levels, using correct suppliers as indicated through RS and Touch Plus front of counter ordering system, ensuring that all delivery details are processed correctly.
- To ensure the Pharmacy is maintained in line with company standards and that Pharmacy sales staff are clear on their duties and the standards of performance to be achieved.
- To lead by example, coaching staff to ensure that a professional and efficient customer service is delivered at all times.
- To organise Monthly product promotions in the Pharmacy and ensure that all company marketing is current and up to date
- To implement policies and procedures as introduced by the Managing pharmacist, and follow standard operating procedures.
- To ensure that the Pharmacy is kept clean and tidy, with cleaning duties delegated and monitored, and any Health and Safety issues are brought to the attention of the Pharmacy Manager.
- To ensure good retail standards and practices are in place and maintained, including compliance with Category Management and Merchandising.
- To organise and support in delivering monthly clinics and events as directed by the managing pharmacist and ensure full adherence to SOP's and targets set.
- To ensure weekly and monthly communications are disseminated and read by the relevant person/s within the pharmacy team. These should also be available in a central location for reference.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills Required
- 3 years of retail Pharmacy experience.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Good attention to detail.
- Organised with a proven ability to multitask successfully in a busy environment.
- Ability to work on initiative and in a team.
- Good IT Skills
