Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of Personal Lines clients, specialising in Motor and Home Insurance.
  • Review and remarket renewal policies to ensure customers receive competitive cover and value.
  • Negotiate terms and premiums with insurers to achieve the best outcomes for clients.
  • Prepare and issue renewal invitations and policy documentation.
  • Generate and convert new business quotations.
  • Handle mid-term adjustments, policy amendments, and general customer enquiries.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through exceptional customer service.
  • Liaise with insurers and underwriters regarding policy placement and renewals.
  • Process payments and maintain accurate client records using broker management systems.
  • Research insurance products and recommend suitable cover based on customer needs.
  • Ensure all work is completed accurately, efficiently, and in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Work to agreed service standards and renewal deadlines while contributing to team targets.

About You

  • Minimum APA qualified(Personal General Insurance).
  • Previous experience in an insurance brokerage or customer-facing insurance role is desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of Motor and Home Insurance products.
  • Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills.
  • Confident communicator with strong organisational and administration skills.
  • Ability to manage a busy workload and work effectively to deadlines.
  • Experience using Applied Systems is an advantage.
  • Positive, proactive, and team-oriented approach.
