Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of Personal Lines clients, specialising in Motor and Home Insurance.
- Review and remarket renewal policies to ensure customers receive competitive cover and value.
- Negotiate terms and premiums with insurers to achieve the best outcomes for clients.
- Prepare and issue renewal invitations and policy documentation.
- Generate and convert new business quotations.
- Handle mid-term adjustments, policy amendments, and general customer enquiries.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through exceptional customer service.
- Liaise with insurers and underwriters regarding policy placement and renewals.
- Process payments and maintain accurate client records using broker management systems.
- Research insurance products and recommend suitable cover based on customer needs.
- Ensure all work is completed accurately, efficiently, and in line with regulatory requirements.
- Work to agreed service standards and renewal deadlines while contributing to team targets.
About You
- Minimum APA qualified(Personal General Insurance).
- Previous experience in an insurance brokerage or customer-facing insurance role is desirable.
- Strong knowledge of Motor and Home Insurance products.
- Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills.
- Confident communicator with strong organisational and administration skills.
- Ability to manage a busy workload and work effectively to deadlines.
- Experience using Applied Systems is an advantage.
- Positive, proactive, and team-oriented approach.
