We are currently recruiting for an experienced Payroll & Benefits Specialist to join an established organisation on a part-time, fixed-term basis. This role offers excellent flexibility across the working week and is ideal for a detail-oriented payroll professional seeking a balanced schedule.
This position sits within the Finance function and works closely with People & Organisation and external payroll providers to ensure accurate, compliant, and timely payroll operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Prepare and validate payroll inputs and review outputs
- Maintain employee payroll records and ensure data integrity
- Ensure all statutory filings are completed in line with Revenue requirements
- Act as the main point of contact for payroll-related queries
- Support payroll audits, reporting, and process improvements
- Administer and implement employee benefits
- Maintain share scheme records and complete annual returns
- Support regulatory reporting (e.g. Gender Pay Gap, CSO, EU transparency)
- Assist with annual reward processes and compensation reporting
- Prepare payroll and HR-related reports and metrics
- Support HR systems and database management
About You:
- 3+ years’ payroll experience
- Strong understanding of Irish PAYE, taxation, and payroll compliance
- Advanced Excel skills and high attention to detail
- Proven ability to work independently in a deadline-driven environment
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- High integrity and commitment to regulatory standards and best practice
