The Opportunity
A well-established, family-owned motor dealership is looking for an experienced Parts Manager to take charge of a busy, profitable multi-franchise parts operation. The business represents Citroen, Opel, and Jeep, working alongside a high-volume workshop.
The Role
You will take full ownership of the parts department, covering:
- Growing turnover and profitability across the workshop, trade counter, and external trade customers
- Managing stock across three franchises, including purchasing, stock control, and keeping obsolescence in check
- Overseeing invoicing, job costing, and debtor management
- Leading and developing a team of parts advisers and delivery drivers
- Building and maintaining relationships with franchise manufacturers and trade customers
- Working with the sales team to drive accessories sales to vehicle buyers
- Putting together and running marketing activity to grow the trade customer base
- Reporting into weekly management meetings and working closely with the Dealer Principal

- Solid background in parts management within a franchised dealership
- Good working knowledge of parts stock management, procurement, and franchise systems
- Experience in a trade counter sales environment
- A people manager who gets results through the team rather than around them
- Well organised, accurate, and on top of supplier and customer relationships
