FRS Recruitment is currently working with a leading Intellectual Disability Service in the Midlands who require Social Care Assistants on an agency basis for long-term, consistent work each week.
This service supports individuals with disabilities to live safely, comfortably, and as independently as possible. The role involves delivering high-quality, person-centred care in line with organisational policies, national standards, and regulatory requirements set by Health Service Executive , Tusla – Child and Family Agency , and Health Information and Quality Authority .
The Social Care Assistant works as part of a multidisciplinary team to promote the well-being, rights, and social inclusion of each individual receiving support.

Requirements

Minimum 2 modules of QQI Level 5 in Health, Social Care, or a related field, with a commitment to completing the full major award (8 modules).

Full Irish Driving Licence.

Previous experience in social care or healthcare is desirable.

Understanding of HIQA standards, safeguarding legislation, and relevant regulatory frameworks.

Excellent English(both written and verbal).
