About the Role:
The Multi-Task Attendant (MTA) role offers the opportunity to work across a variety of duties in a Dublin-based mental health service. MTAs support service users by assisting with personal care, maintaining a clean and safe environment and helping with catering tasks. This is a flexible, hands-on role where you may move between different wards, departments or relief duties to meet the needs of the service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Caring: Assist with the delivery of direct and indirect care and activities of daily living for patients, residents, or service users under the supervision and direction of nursing or other professional staff/designated manager.
- Cleaning: Attend to designated housekeeping, cleaning, laundry, and waste management duties in line with national and local policies and standards.
- Catering: Responsible, when directed, for the preparation, distribution, and serving of food, and delivery of catering services to patients, residents, or service users.
Requirements:
- Must hold a FETAC Level 5 Certificate in Healthcare(all 8 modules required)
- Previous experience working in cleaning, catering, or personal care environments
- Must be willing to complete the HSE compliance process
