An established renewable energy organisation operating in a nationwide capacity is seeking an Operations Manager to join their team.
The Company
My client is a growing business within the renewable energy sector, focused on delivering solar PV and heat pump solutions. The company is entering a key phase of expansion and requires strong operational leadership to support scalable growth, improve delivery performance and implement effective structures across the business.
The Role
This is a senior leadership position with full responsibility for day-to-day operations across installation activities. The successful candidate will take ownership of operational performance, develop systems and processes and build a high-performing team.
Duties include:
- Leading and managing installation teams, surveyors, and support staff.
- Ensuring projects are delivered on time and to a high standard.
- Designing and improving operational processes and workflows.
- Increasing installation capacity while maintaining quality.
- Monitoring KPIs and delivering structured performance reports.
- Coordinating across sales, design, and administrative functions.
- Overseeing quality control and enhancing customer experience.
- Supporting the development and integration of the heat pump division.
- Managing supplier relationships and improving logistics efficiency.
- Driving continuous improvement through data and feedback.
Requirements
- Proven experience in operations management within construction, renewables, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of solar PV, heat pumps, or mechanical/electrical installations.
- Experience managing field-based and multi-site teams.
- Excellent leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to implement systems and processes from the ground up.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- A hands-on approach with a focus on delivery and results.
Location
This is an onsite role based in Shannon, with responsibility for overseeing multiple operational activities.
