As they expand there services in the Ennis region, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Lead to join our team and play a key role in shaping and maintaining exceptional care standards.
Role Overview
The Nurse Lead will be responsible for overseeing clinical care delivery, supporting and supervising care staff, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. This is a leadership role requiring a strong clinical background, excellent organisational skills, and a passion for community-based care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical leadership and support to homecare staff
- Conduct client assessments and develop personalised care plans
- Monitor and evaluate care delivery to ensure high standards are maintained
- Act as the primary clinical point of contact for clients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Lead training, mentoring, and performance management of care staff
- Ensure compliance with HIQA standards and company policies
- Participate in service development and continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Assist with on-call rota as required
Requirements
- Registered General Nurse (RGN) with active NMBI registration
- Minimum 2 years’ post-registration experience, preferably in community or homecare settings
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience desirable
- Strong knowledge of HIQA standards and clinical governance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Full clean driving licence and access to a car
- Eligibility to work in Ireland
