Night Manager (CNM2) – Full Time- 1x Fixed Term

Aurora Enriching Lives, Enriching Communities provides residential and day services for adults with intellectual disabilities and has recently completed transition from a congregated setting to community-based supports. Aurora has a highly trained and dedicated staff of more than 300 health-care professionals catering to the needs of over 80 adults.
Aurora has been a national leader in the de-congregation process with full-service reconfiguration to a Supported Self-Directed Living model. Aurora’s vision is to develop this service further and to be the national centre of excellence and an ‘employer of choice’ within the sector.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and monitoring the implementation of the Personal Plan Framework across Aurora during nighttime as a continuum of the People supported daily needs.

This is an exciting and fulfilling opportunity for an ambitious and enthusiastic candidate who will have overall responsibility for oversight and governance of the Aurora service at night.
Candidates must have
- A qualification in Nursing i.e. RNID/dual qualification and be registered with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) plus
- A qualification in Supervisory Management (preferably level 6 or above)
- Full clean Irish driving licence and own transport
Experience
- A minimum of 3 years supervisory or management experience in Health Care or Disability Services
- Passion for innovative solutions and process improvement
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to make sound decisions with a well-reasoned rationale
- Proven organisational and time management skills to meet objectives within agreed time-frames and achieve quality results
- Evidence of effective planning including an awareness of resource management and the importance of value for money
- The ability to lead the team by example and supporting individuals as required in the delivery of service excellence
- Strong interpersonal and networking skills including strong written communication skills
- Must be able to interface at all levels of the organisation, maintain relationships with colleagues and other stakeholders to achieve results through collaborative working
- Must work co-cooperatively with senior management colleagues
- Experience in using a Time Management System is desirable but not essential
- Experience in overseeing rostering
- Working knowledge of all relevant legislation and HIQA Standards and a proven ability to implement standards and regulations.
