Non Functional Test (NFT) Engineers | Nenagh | 5 Days Onsite
We're hiring 2 Non Functional Test Engineers (1 Senior, 1 Mid-Level) to join a major payments technology project focused on Android POS devices and cloud-native payment platforms.
You'll play a key role in ensuring the performance, scalability, resilience and stability of enterprise payment systems across cloud infrastructure, APIs and Android-based POS devices.
What you'll be doing
Design and execute load, stress, spike and endurance testing
Validate performance across cloud-native microservices and Kubernetes environments
Test Android POS device performance (CPU, memory, battery, responsiveness)
Analyse performance using Grafana, Prometheus, ELK/Kibana and CloudWatch
Identify bottlenecks and drive performance improvements across payment applications and APIs
Produce performance reports, KPI dashboards and risk assessments
What we're looking for
Senior
5+ years QA experience with 3+ years in performance/non-functional testing
Experience leading NFT for distributed, cloud-native systems
Strong Kubernetes, observability and large-scale load testing experience
Mid-Level
3+ years QA experience with exposure to performance testing
Hands-on experience with JMeter, Gatling or Locust
Good understanding of Kubernetes, microservices and cloud environments
Essential technical skills
JMeter, Gatling or Locust
Kubernetes & Docker
REST API performance testing
Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/Kibana or CloudWatch
Python or Bash scripting
CI/CD integration
Performance analysis and troubleshooting
Highly desirable
Payments or POS experience
EMV transaction flows
Android device profiling
Kafka, Redis or messaging platforms
