Job Title: Member Services Executive

Position: Full-Time (35 hours per week)

My client, a well-established Credit Union in Cork City, is seeking to appoint a Member Services Executive to join their team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced financial services professional who enjoys working in a member focused environment and is looking to further develop their career within a progressive and supportive organisation.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a high standard of service to members while supporting the day-to-day operations of the office.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing professional and efficient service to members via phone, email and online channels, with occasional face-to-face interaction when required

  • Processing loan applications and assisting members with account queries and account management

  • Supporting members across a range of financial services including savings, loans and general account enquiries

  • Assisting with credit control queries and member account support

  • Carrying out a range of back-office administrative and operational duties

  • Supporting colleagues within the team and contributing to the smooth running of daily operations

Requirements

The successful candidate will ideally have:

  • APA or QFA Required

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience working within a financial institution such as a credit union, bank or similar environment

  • Strong customer service and member relationship management skills

  • Excellent administration skills with strong attention to detail

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Good IT and systems skills

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

  • Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities

Working Hours

  • 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday
