Medical Scientist – Microbiology *No Sponsorship*
FRS Recruitment is currently seeking a qualified Medical Scientist specialising in Microbiology to join a hospital laboratory team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented Medical Scientist to contribute to the delivery of high-quality diagnostic services, supporting the diagnosis, treatment and management of infectious diseases.
Location: North Dublin
Job Type: 3 month contract
35 hrs per week plus weekend work
Main Duty: To perform microbiological investigations and diagnostic laboratory testing on clinical specimens to identify microorganisms, support the diagnosis and treatment of infectious diseases, and ensure accurate and timely reporting of results in accordance with laboratory protocols and quality standards.
Requirements:
- Possess qualifications recognised by the Department of Health and Children and be a member of, or be eligible for membership of The Academy of Clinical Science and Laboratory Medicine (ACSLM) or prior to 1994 Associate Membership of the Academy (ACSLM)
- CORU registration
- Work on own intititive
- Computer literate
- Irish working rights due to immediate start
