The Role

My client, an established organisation is seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to join their team. This is a full-time, permanent, hybrid position (after probation) based in Galway.

As the Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for leading the development and execution of the company’s marketing strategy, balancing strategic oversight with hands-on management of projects to deliver measurable results.

Tasks & Duties

  • Lead the development and execution of the company-wide marketing strategy and annual plan, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Manage, mentor, and support the Marketing Team, fostering collaboration, high performance, and hands-on delivery of initiatives.
  • Maintain and enhance the company’s brand identity, including employer branding, site-level initiatives, and all public-facing communications.
  • Design and implement internal communication campaigns that promote company culture, values, and employee engagement.
  • Collaborate across departments and manage external suppliers to identify brand-building opportunities and deliver PR, advertising, and sponsorship initiatives.
  • Own the company’s social media strategy, content planning, and day-to-day management across all platforms, ensuring engagement and consistency.
  • Monitor and report on marketing, social media, and website performance using analytics, providing insights and recommendations to improve reach and impact.
  • Create and coordinate high-quality content, including marketing collateral, website updates, photography, videography, and other digital assets.
  • Plan and execute internal and external events to support business goals, brand visibility, and culture-building initiatives.
  • Support business development through lead generation, market research, pitch presentations, and pre-qualification/tender materials.
  • Conduct competitor and market research, benchmarking communications and branding efforts, and providing actionable recommendations.
  • Produce regular marketing performance reports and insights, ensuring data-driven decision-making across campaigns and initiatives.

Experience, Knowledge & Qualifications

  • Degree or diploma in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience managing and mentoring a marketing team in a multi-channel environment.
  • Proven project management skills, including planning, execution, and delivery of campaigns.
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms, digital marketing tools, SEO, and analytics.
  • Experience managing PR, advertising, sponsorship initiatives, and third-party suppliers or agencies.
  • Previous experience in the Construction industry is a distinct advantage.
  • All candidates must currently reside in a commutable distance with full working rights.
