About the Role
Seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in County Kerry. This role is responsible for ensuring equipment reliability, supporting production operations, and maintaining full compliance with GMP, quality systems, and health & safety standards in a highly regulated pharma environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the upkeep of the facility and its equipment
- Perform maintenance and calibration of selected manufacturing equipment and instrumentation under the direction of the Technical Lead
- Repair equipment in the event of an unexpected breakdown
- Advise when equipment needs to be replaced
- Organise spare parts and order key items.
- Promote health and safety and ensure all equipment is operating in a safe manner
- To assist in the preparation of regulatory audits and customer visits
- To assist the QP, in the implementation of continuous improvement throughout the manufacturing process.
Requirements
- Qualification in a technical discipline.
- 2+ years’ experience in a maintenance role within a GMP-regulated environment.
- Strong understanding of GMP, quality systems, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience with preventive maintenance systems and reliability engineering.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Strong communication, and organisational skills.
- Experience in pharmaceutical or other highly regulated manufacturing environments would be benefical .
