Maintenance Technician

Naas, Co. Kildare | Full-time | Permanent | Days Only

We are recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join a well-established food manufacturing business in Naas.

This is a days-only, Monday to Friday role offering a great opportunity for a qualified electrical tradesperson to join a busy production environment.

The Role

You will provide hands-on electrical and mechanical maintenance support across the site, keeping production running efficiently and minimising downtime.

Key responsibilities:

• Planned and reactive maintenance of production machinery

• Electrical fault-finding, repairs and troubleshooting

• PLC and control system diagnostics

• Mechanical and electro-mechanical maintenance

• Installation and commissioning of equipment

• Supporting continuous improvement and machinery upgrades

• Maintaining high standards of GMP, quality and health & safety

What We're Looking For

• Recognised Electrical Trade Qualification – essential

• 3+ years' industrial maintenance experience

• FMCG/food manufacturing experience highly desirable

• Strong electrical fault-finding and troubleshooting skills

• Experience with PLC-controlled machinery

• Good mechanical maintenance knowledge

• Practical, hands-on problem solver

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
