A full-time, permanent opportunity is available for a qualified Fitter to join a busy and growing sawmill operation.
The Role
This position involves the maintenance and repair of sawmill machinery to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous production.
Duties include:

Maintenance, servicing, and repair of sawmill machinery and equipment

Fault finding and breakdown repairs
-
Planned preventative maintenance
-
Working as part of a team to minimise downtime

Maintaining a strong focus on workplace safety
Requirements
-
Trade-qualified Fitter or Mechanical qualification

Experience in an industrial or sawmill environment (preferred but not essential)

Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills

Ability to work independently and within a team

Reliable, hardworking, and safety-conscious
