Our client, a well established manufacturing company based in North Cork, is looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to join their maintenance team. What you will be doing:
- Carrying out planned preventative and reactive maintenance across production equipment.
- Fault finding on PLC controlled machinery and automated systems.
- Maintaining electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
- Servicing pumps, including pressure pumps, along with motors, drives, conveyors, compressors, generators, and other production machinery.
- Diagnosing breakdowns and carrying out effective repairs to minimise downtime.
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently.
What we are looking for:
- Previous experience as a Maintenance Technician, Electro-Mechanical Technician, Millwright, or in a similar maintenance role.
- Proven experience fault finding on PLC controlled equipment.
- Experience working with pumps, pressure pumps, hydraulics, motors, drives, and industrial machinery.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings.
- Experience within manufacturing, heavy plant, steel, transport, quarrying, or other heavy industrial environments would be highly advantageous.
