Our client, a growing renewable energy company based in Roscommon, is looking to recruit a Maintenance Planner to join their expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a modern plant, supporting the day to day operation of the facility while helping drive future site expansion and continuous improvement.

What you will be doing:

  • Developing and managing the site's preventative maintenance programme.
  • Planning and scheduling maintenance activities to maximise plant reliability.
  • Maintaining maintenance records, procedures, and technical documentation.
  • Managing critical spare parts and stock levels.
  • Monitoring plant performance using the SCADA control system.
  • Identifying equipment faults, alarms, and performance issues.
  • Coordinating external maintenance contractors and service providers.
  • Supporting day to day maintenance activities across the facility.
  • Supervising two Plant Operatives and working closely with the operations team.
  • Assisting with continuous improvement projects as the site continues to expand.

What we are looking for:

  • An Engineering qualification in Mechanical, Electrical or Process Engineering, or previous experience in a maintenance planning or maintenance engineering
  • Experience within manufacturing, utilities, renewable energy, or industrial process environments.
  • Knowledge of preventative maintenance systems and maintenance planning.
  • Experience working with pumps, motors, valves, mixers, or other rotating equipment.
  • Experience using SCADA or other plant monitoring systems would be an advantage.
  • Good organisational, planning, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and maintenance management systems.
  • Full driving licence.
