Maintenance Fitter
An established Irish manufacturer with decades of success is expanding due to a newly secured multi-million euro contract with one of Ireland’s leading retailers. Operating from a modern, BRCGS-certified facility, this company has built a strong reputation for quality, innovation, and long-term partnerships — and they’re now adding a skilled Maintenance Fitter to the team.
This role is easily commutable from Mallow, Mitchelstown, Charleville, Castletownroche, Ballyhooly, Doneraile, Kilworth, Glanworth, Rathcormac, Kildorrery, Shanballymore, Youghal, Lismore, Cappoquin, Dungarvan, Listowel, Clonmel, Cahir, and Carrick-on-Suir.
The Role
You’ll be part of a fast-paced, quality-driven food production environment, carrying out corrective, routine, and preventative maintenance across a range of mechanical systems.
You’ll play a key role in:

Responding quickly to breakdowns and minimising downtime

Supporting efficient, continuous production

Maintaining and improving plant performance

Working closely with production and engineering teams

Salary circa €54,000

2-week days (7am–3pm) / 1-week evenings (3pm–11pm) rotation

What We’re Looking For

M.A.M.F trade qualified
-
Minimum 2 years’ maintenance experience in an automated production environment

Strong mechanical fault-finding ability
-
Experience with welding, PLC troubleshooting, pneumatics, or refrigeration would be a distinct advantage
