Our client is seeking a trade-qualified Electrician to maintain a leading manufacturing site. You will keep operations running smoothly by delivering planned maintenance, responding to unplanned requests, and troubleshooting electrical, instrumentation, and basic mechanical issues. You will also support plant upgrades, continuous improvement projects, and ensure high standards of GMP, safety, and housekeeping.
Location:
Commutable from Cork City, Ballincollig, Midleton, Crosshaven, Cobh
Shift Pattern:
Week 1: 5 x 12-hour shift | Week 2: 2 x 12-hour shift | Days Shift Only
Requirements:
- Completed electrical trade apprenticeship
- Experience in GMP or regulated production environments
- Strong knowledge of PLCs, instrumentation, and electrical troubleshooting
- Basic mechanical ability for first-line fault-finding
- Problem-solving mindset, proactive approach, and teamwork skills
- Computer literate with experience using maintenance systems
