Our client, a well-established food manufacturing company based in South Tipperary, is looking to recruit a Maintenance Technician to join their engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced electrician or maintenance professional looking for a stable, long-term role with ongoing training and development.
What you will be doing:
- Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on production equipment.
- Responding to breakdowns and fault finding to minimise downtime.
- Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults.
- Supporting preventative maintenance and continuous improvement projects.
- Assisting with equipment upgrades and installations.
- Liaising with contractors and suppliers when required.
- Completing maintenance records and required documentation.
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
What we are looking for:
- Qualified Electrician with a recognised electrical trade qualification.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a maintenance or electrical role.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Relevant experience from any industry will be considered.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong initiative and attention to detail.
- Basic IT skills.
- Flexibility to work rotating Days and Evenings.
