FRS Recruitment is currently seeking a Labourer to join a busy team on a temporary contract basis. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working outdoors, working as part of a team and getting stuck into a variety of tasks.
What You'll Be Doing
- Carrying out general labouring duties, including work relating to building and fencing
- Working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Loading and unloading equipment and materials
- Assisting team members with a variety of day-to-day tasks
- Inspecting products and reporting any faults or issues
- Following instructions from the Area Supervisor and Team Leader
- Operating machinery where required
- Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment
- Following all company health & safety procedures
- Wearing the appropriate PPE at all times
- Reporting accidents, incidents and near misses
- Completing all required training
- Supporting the team with other duties as required
What We're Looking For
- Previous labouring or construction-related experience
- A reasonable knowledge of the building or fencing trade
- Valid Safe Pass
- Valid Manual Handling
- Experience operating machinery, particularly a digger, is an advantage
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, hardworking and motivated attitude
- Comfortable working outdoors and in a busy environment
- Willingness to learn and take on new tasks
- Own transport is a strong advantage
