Lab Technician – Food & Beverage Manufacturing

Your New Company
Our client is a global leader in the beverage manufacturing sector, operating a state-of-the-art production and distribution facility in Kildare that supplies products throughout the EMEA region.
Reporting to the QC Manager and working within a close-knit team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring products consistently meet the highest quality and food safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out in-house QC testing on raw materials, in-process samples and finished products
- Perform routine laboratory testing including Brix, pH, turbidity and other analytical tests
- Prepare standards and reference samples for production testing
- Collect, review and maintain Certificates of Analysis
- Maintain HACCP documentation, including CCP and OPRP records
- Prepare samples for external laboratory analysis
- Maintain, calibrate and verify laboratory equipment
- Work closely with Production, Purchasing and Quality teams
- Identify quality issues and recommend improvements
- Maintain accurate laboratory records and documentation
What We're Looking For
- Relevant qualification in Science, Food Science, Chemistry or a related discipline
- Ideally 2+ years' laboratory experience within the food manufacturing or pharmaceutical sector
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
