Key Account Manager -Premium FMCG Food Brand - Dublin 12

We are recruiting a high-caliber Key Account Manager to drive the continued growth of our clients retail business.

This role is split between two distinct, high-impact retail sectors: 60% Symbols and 40% Multiples. You will champion our brand across major FMCG accounts, acting as the primary strategic and commercial partner for category buyers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Commercial Ownership: Manage a prominent retail portfolio, split 60% Symbol groups and 40% Multiples, ensuring sales revenue, margins, and agreed KPIs are consistently exceeded.

  • Relationship Management: Act as the lead contact for category buyers, building deep, collaborative relationships with key stakeholders.

  • Analytical Precision & Forecasting: Provide highly accurate, weekly sales forecasting and performance reports. Monitor daily orders, manage stock levels, and closely track deliveries and non-conformances.

  • Category Growth: Identify opportunities for new product listings, range extensions, and targeted promotional activities based on commercial insights.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with our internal logistics, administration, and stock control teams to guarantee 100% product availability and seamlessly resolve any commercial issues.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Proven FMCG Track Record: At least 3 years of experience in an FMCG food sales or key account management role, ideally working with Irish retail, convenience, or symbol accounts.

  • Superb Analytical Communicator: You don't just look at data—you translate numbers into compelling, actionable sales stories. You have a highly analytical approach to margins, volume forecasting, and category performance.

  • Obsessive Attention to Detail: You take pride in pinpoint accuracy, from managing complex pricing structures and promotional grids to tracking weekly product forecasts.

  • Strong Negotiator: Commercially astute with excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

  • Tech Savvy: Fully competent in MS Office, with strong Excel skills to handle forecasting and data analysis. An understanding of food production and packaging specifications is a strong advantage.

Ready to join a premier Irish food business?

If you have the commercial drive, analytical rigor, and relationship-building talent to take our retail accounts to the next level, we want to hear from you.
