FRS Recruitment are delighted to be recruiting a Junior Site Manager on behalf of an established developer based in Waterford City.
Our client is an experienced housing developer with a strong pipeline of residential, commercial, and Leisure projects, all located within Waterford City and the surrounding areas.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Junior Site Manager, Graduate Construction Manager or an individual with some initial site experience who is looking to develop their career within residential construction.
The successful candidate will work alongside an experienced Site Management team, gaining valuable exposure to all stages of residential construction, from initial site preparation through to completion and handover.

Responsibilities
- Assist the Site Manager with daily construction activities onsite.
- Coordinate subcontractors and trades across various stages of construction.
- Monitor site progress and ensure works meet project specifications.
- Support site management with health and safety compliance requirements.
- Assist with quality inspections and construction programme coordination activities.
- Review construction drawings and liaise with the engineering team.
- Maintain accurate site records and assist with progress reporting.
- Gain experience across all stages of residential project delivery.
Requirements
- Relevant qualification in Construction Management, Engineering or related discipline.
- Ideally some previous site experience, including college placement experience in Ireland.
- c. 1–2 years' construction experience within Ireland would be highly advantageous.
- An interest in residential construction and site management progression.
- Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills across construction projects.
- Ability to work effectively alongside experienced site management teams.
- Full driving licence would be advantageous for the position.
