This is an opportunity to work in a modern enterprise environment where you'll gain exposure to technologies used at scale while building experience that will strengthen your CV for years to come.

With an initial 12-month contract (and possible further 12 month extension), excellent day-to-day stability and the potential for extension, this role offers far more certainty than many shorter-term contracts currently on the market.

If you're passionate about solving technical issues, supporting end users and delivering excellent customer service, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Deliver Level 2 ICT support to end users.
  • Resolve hardware, software and mobile device issues.
  • Support Android devices and enterprise mobility technologies.
  • Manage incidents and service requests through the Service Desk.
  • Work to agreed service levels while providing an excellent customer experience.
  • Create technical documentation and knowledge articles.
  • Collaborate with experienced ICT professionals in a large enterprise environment.

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in an ICT Helpdesk or IT Support role.
  • Strong desktop support experience.
  • Experience supporting Android mobile devices.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.

Qualifications

You'll need either:

  • An NFQ Level 6 (or higher) qualification in Computing (or equivalent),

or

  • Relevant ICT Helpdesk experience together with an industry certification such as CompTIA A+, ITIL v4 or equivalent.

Desirable Experience

Experience with any of the following would be an advantage:

  • Omnissa Workspace ONE UEM
  • Samsung Knox
  • Mobile Device Management (MDM)
  • Enterprise mobility platforms
  • Microsoft Windows environments
  • IT Service Management tools

Why Apply?

✔ Initial 12-month contract with the possibility of extension.

✔ Gain valuable experience within a large public sector ICT environment, enhancing your CV with recognised enterprise technologies.

✔ Work in a stable, well-established organisation supporting critical services.

✔ Hybrid working model with a collaborative and experienced ICT team.

✔ An excellent opportunity to broaden your technical experience while enjoying the security and consistency of a long-term contract.

Please note: Only applicants with EU Citizenship, a Stamp 4 Visa, or a Stamp 1G (Spouse/Dependent) Visa where the sponsoring spouse holds a Stamp 4 are eligible for this opportunity. Applications that do not meet these work permission requirements will not be considered.
