What you will do
- Act as the primary point of contact between our teams and the external IT provider, keeping communication clear and issues resolved promptly
- Coordinate IT-related projects, from new system rollouts to upgrades and process changes
- Onboard and offboard staff on systems and equipment; deliver IT inductions and practical training
- Champion the use of existing platforms particularly Microsoft 365 and help teams get more from the tools they already have
- Develop digital forms, workflows, and automations that reduce manual effort
- Manage IT procurement and hardware budgets, working within sign-off processes
- Oversee data filing structures, IT policies, and compliance requirements
- Support the ongoing development of our cybersecurity framework alongside external specialists
What you will need
- Several years of experience in an IT coordination, support, or business process role, ideally within construction, engineering, or a multi-site environment
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and related platforms
- Proven ability to deliver training and drive digital adoption among non-technical colleagues
- Experience building workflow automations and digital forms
- Comfortable managing relationships with external providers and coordinating across teams
- Organised, proactive, and practical someone who gets things done without needing to own the infrastructure themselves
- A relevant qualification in IT, information systems, or a related discipline is desirable
