We’re recruiting an ICT Support Engineer to join a well-established public sector organisation in Dublin city centre. This role offers the chance to work across end-user support, Microsoft technologies, endpoint management, and day-to-day ICT operations in a structured and collaborative environment.

The Role
You’ll provide hands-on ICT support across desktop, endpoint, and user environments while helping to ensure reliable, secure, and responsive IT services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver 1st and 2nd line ICT support across hardware, software, and end-user environments
• Support Microsoft 365 administration, including user management and troubleshooting
• Administer and support Active Directory / Entra ID environments
• Configure, deploy, and support desktops, laptops, and endpoint devices
• Support endpoint management and device life-cycle activities using Intune and related tools
• Troubleshoot Windows desktop and operating system issues
• Assist with account provisioning, permissions, and access management
• Support networking and connectivity troubleshooting (LAN/WAN, WiFi, VPN)
• Support endpoint security, patching, and compliance activities
• Manage incidents and service requests through ticketing systems
• Escalate and coordinate issues with internal teams and third-party suppliers
• Maintain technical documentation and contribute to service improvement initiatives
Requirements:
• 2+ years’ experience in ICT Support, Desktop Support, Service Desk, or Infrastructure Support environments
• Strong Microsoft 365 administration and support experience
• Experience supporting Windows desktop environments
• Experience with Active Directory and/or Entra ID administration
• Exposure to Intune, endpoint management, or device deployment tools
• Experience with ticketing systems and SLA-driven environments
• Good understanding of networking fundamentals and troubleshooting methodologies
• Strong customer service and communication skills
Desirable:
• Exposure to Azure environments
• ITIL certification or service management exposure
• Public sector, education, or regulated environment experience
• Experience supporting security and patch management processes
