My client, a leading FMCG Manufacturer, is seeking an experienced and motivated Inventory Coordinator to join their team on site in Thurles, Co. Tipperary
This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and hands-on inventory professional to take ownership of stock management activities within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Reporting directly to the Head of Procurement, the successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring stock availability, inventory accuracy and efficient dry goods store operations.

The Role
As the Inventory Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing inventory levels, coordinating dry goods stock, and ensuring all materials are available to support smooth production operations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Manage and control dry goods inventory, including ingredients, packaging materials and PPE stock.
- Place weekly and monthly stock orders, ensuring materials are available and preventing stock-out situations.
- Monitor stock levels, expiry dates and product availability, escalating any issues when required.
- Complete regular stock takes and ensure accuracy between physical inventory and system records.
- Ensure all stock is correctly received, labelled, allocated and stored in the appropriate locations.
- Manage deliveries, including unloading, checking and organising stock within the stores area.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP systems, including MERP/CSB, and ensure all data is kept up to date.
- Utilise Excel and reporting tools to support inventory management activities.
- Ensure stock locations are accurately maintained and inventory processes are followed.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
- Work closely with the procurement and operations teams to support daily requirements.
- Provide information and support on routine stock queries.
- Ensure all activities are completed in line with Health & Safety, quality standards and company procedures.
- Support the Head of Procurement with ongoing operational requirements and continuous improvement initiatives.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in inventory, stock control, stores or materials management, ideally within an FMCG or manufacturing environment.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience managing deliveries and stock movement processes.
- Ability to prioritise workloads, meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills with a professional and customer-focused approach.
- Experience using inventory management systems or ERP systems.
- Proficiency using Microsoft Excel.
- Forklift experience is essential.
- A flexible approach with a willingness to support business requirements when needed.
- A desire to learn, develop and progress within a growing organisation.
