FRS Recruitment is seeking an experienced ICT Contracts Manager on behalf of the Road Safety Authority (RSA) to join its Technology Platforms & Solutions directorate on a maternity leave contract.
This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in managing technology suppliers, ICT contracts and procurement activity that supports critical national road safety services. The role can be hybrid (mandatory 2 days a week onsite) from locations with an RSA Office e.g. Loughrea, Ballina, Bow St Dublin.
About the Role
You'll work closely with the Director of Technology Platforms & Solutions, helping manage a portfolio of over 60 technology suppliers supporting infrastructure, cloud services, cybersecurity, applications and business-critical systems.
The successful candidate will lead supplier governance, procurement activity, contract renewals and commercial management while ensuring value for money and high-quality service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Manage ICT supplier relationships and contract performance.
- Monitor supplier KPIs, SLAs and service levels.
- Lead and support ICT procurement competitions.
- Prepare procurement documentation and specifications.
- Manage contract renewals and supplier performance reviews.
- Challenge supplier pricing and commercial proposals.
- Support technology governance and reporting.
- Develop supplier management processes, templates and documentation.
- Identify commercial, contractual and operational risks.
- Work with technology, finance, procurement and business stakeholders.
Requirements
Applicants should have:
- Experience managing ICT suppliers and technology contracts.
- Experience supporting or leading public procurement activities.
- Strong commercial awareness and contract management skills.
- Knowledge of technology environments including infrastructure, cloud and cybersecurity.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
You must also meet one of the following:
- A Level 6 qualification (or higher) with computing-related modules plus five years' directly relevant ICT contracts management experience.
OR
- At least seven years' relevant technology experience, including five years in ICT contracts management.
Additional requirements include:
- Full driving licence.
- Professional fluency in English.
- Availability to commence in October 2026.
