Due to continued growth, our client are seeking to recruit a HR Officer to support the HR Manager. The HR Officer will be responsible for operational coordination, including compliance and training.


Key responsibilities:

  • Recruitment & Onboarding
  • Support the administration of recruitment processes in line with recruitment practices and organizational policy.
  • Prepare and issue job advertisements as directed by the HR Manager.
  • Coordinate interview scheduling, candidate communications, and recruitment documentation.
  • Track garda vetting applications, reference checks, and pre-employment documentation, escalating any delays or issues.
  • Prepare employment contracts and onboarding packs for approval and issue.
  • Coordinate staff induction schedules, ensuring completion of Children First training, safeguarding briefings, and policy orientation.
  • Compliance management
  • Support audits of staff files by preparing documentation and evidence as required.
  • Training and staff development
  • Maintain and update the organisational Training Matrix.
  • Track mandatory and role-specific training, refresher dates, and certification expiry.
  • Coordinate training bookings, attendance records, and certification updates.


Skills / Qualifications:

  • A relevant qualification in Human Resource, or a related field A minimum of 2 year' experience in a HR role.
  • Working knowledge of GDPR.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Strong understanding of Irish employment law and HR best practice
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS platforms
  • Full clean driving license and flexibility to travel when required.
