Due to continued growth, our client are seeking to recruit a HR Officer to support the HR Manager. The HR Officer will be responsible for operational coordination, including compliance and training.
Key responsibilities:
- Recruitment & Onboarding
- Support the administration of recruitment processes in line with recruitment practices and organizational policy.
- Prepare and issue job advertisements as directed by the HR Manager.
- Coordinate interview scheduling, candidate communications, and recruitment documentation.
- Track garda vetting applications, reference checks, and pre-employment documentation, escalating any delays or issues.
- Prepare employment contracts and onboarding packs for approval and issue.
- Coordinate staff induction schedules, ensuring completion of Children First training, safeguarding briefings, and policy orientation.
- Compliance management
- Support audits of staff files by preparing documentation and evidence as required.
- Training and staff development
- Maintain and update the organisational Training Matrix.
- Track mandatory and role-specific training, refresher dates, and certification expiry.
- Coordinate training bookings, attendance records, and certification updates.
Skills / Qualifications:
- A relevant qualification in Human Resource, or a related field A minimum of 2 year' experience in a HR role.
- Working knowledge of GDPR.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Strong understanding of Irish employment law and HR best practice
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS platforms
- Full clean driving license and flexibility to travel when required.
