I am currently seeking to appoint an HR Manager to join the Senior Management Team of a well-established organisation with operations across Ireland and Europe. This is a key strategic appointment, with full ownership of the HR function and the opportunity to shape and develop HR practices as the business continues to evolve.

The Role

This position handles end-to-end responsibility for HR, supporting a workforce primarily based in European data centres, alongside workshops on-site in Tipperary.

Working closely with two Directors, the HR Manager will act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, overseeing all aspects of people management, employee relations, recruitment, compliance, and HR operations. Administrative support is in place.

This role will play a central part in maintaining positive industrial relations while supporting operational and strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Full ownership of the HR function, both operational and strategic

  • Lead employee relations and industrial relations activity in a unionised setting

  • Oversee recruitment and workforce planning across Ireland and Europe

  • Advise senior leadership on HR strategy, policy, and compliance

  • Manage and develop HR systems and processes (currently using Workflow Infinity)

  • Liaise with external advisors and consultants on EU and international HR matters

  • Support organisational development and future growth initiatives

About You

  • Proven experience operating at HR Manager or senior HR level, with full functional responsibility

  • Strong knowledge of Irish employment law; European HR exposure is highly desirable

  • Comfortable working in a unionised environment

  • Confident partnering with senior leaders and influencing at management level

  • Experience working across international or multi-site environments is an advantage

  • Sector-specific engineering experience is not essential — candidates from diverse HR backgrounds are welcome
