Our client, a well-established and growing organisation within the food production sector, is seeking a HR Coordinator to join their team. Reporting directly to the HR Manager, this is an excellent opportunity for a HR professional with 1-2 years' experience who is looking to broaden their exposure across multiple areas of HR.
This role offers hands-on experience across recruitment, employee relations, HR administration, systems, and project work, making it an ideal next step for someone looking to develop their HR career.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the full recruitment process, including liaising with recruitment agencies, coordinating interviews, onboarding new hires, and maintaining recruitment records.
- Act as a first point of contact for employee HR queries.
- Provide administrative support across employee relations processes, including note-taking during meetings and investigations.
- Assist with the review and updating of HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
- Support the implementation and ongoing administration of the company's HR information system.
- Prepare HR reports and ensure the accuracy of employee data.
- Assist with employee engagement initiatives and wider HR projects.
- Support the HR Manager with day-to-day HR operations and continuous improvement activities.
About You
- 1-2 years' experience in a HR Administrator, HR Coordinator, or similar HR support role.
- Relevant qualification in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline.
- Strong administrative and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience using HR systems is advantageous.
- CIPD qualification, or working towards one, would be beneficial.
