We are currently recruiting experienced Health Care Assistants / Home Support Workers.
We are particularly interested in candidates who are passionate about providing high-quality, person-centred care and who are willing to relocate within Ireland where required.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality personal, social and emotional care to clients in their own homes.
- Deliver care in accordance with each client's individual care plan.
- Support clients with personal care and daily living activities.
- Provide practical and emotional support in a professional and respectful manner.
- Maintain accurate records and complete detailed care reports.
- Follow all relevant company policies, procedures and health and safety requirements.
- Apply appropriate infection prevention and control practices.
- Travel to and from client's homes to provide care.
- Attend relevant training and participate in ongoing professional development.
- Work collaboratively with clients, families and other healthcare professionals where required.
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a health or social care setting.
- Experience supporting older people and/or individuals with disabilities.
- A recognised QQI Level 5 Healthcare Support qualification, or a relevant QQI Level 7/Social Care qualification or European equivalent.
- Full clean driving licence.
- Good command of spoken and written English.
- Availability to work day and evening shifts, including weekends.
- Reliable, dependable and flexible approach to work.
- Strong communication and practical skills.
- A caring, compassionate and person-centred approach.
