We are currently recruiting for Healthcare Assistants who are passionate about supporting vulnerable individuals.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide person-centred care and support to individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities
- Assist with daily living activities including personal care, mobility, and routines
- Support service users in developing independence, life skills, and social engagement
- Deliver structured activities, group sessions, and individual support plans
- Work closely within a multidisciplinary team
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and care documentation
- Drive and support service users to attend community activities and appointments.
Candidate Requirements
- QQI Level 5 Major Award in Healthcare (or equivalent)
- Min 2 years’ experience working in one of the following services: Disability services; Social care or Healthcare / residential care environments
- Very good to fluent English (spoken and written)
- Full driving licence with recent driving experience (within the last 2 years)
- Willingness to work in intellectual disability (ID) services
- Comfortable driving service users as part of the role
- Friendly, caring, and professional personality
