Our client is seeking an experienced Group Health & Safety Manager to lead Health, Safety and Environmental activities across a multi-site organisation. This senior, strategic role covers Group-wide compliance, field and construction safety, and the development of a strong safety culture.
Candidate Profile
- 5+ years’ experience in a senior H&S role within telecoms, utilities, infrastructure, or engineering environments
- Level 7 or higher qualification in Occupational Health & Safety or Environmental Health
- PSDP and PSCS qualifications with practical construction experience
- Experience leading safety across large, field-based teams and third-party contractors
- Full clean Irish driving licence and flexibility to travel nationwide
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and maintain the Group Health, Safety and Environmental Management System
- Ensure compliance with Irish H&S legislation and Construction Regulations
- Act as the primary point of contact with the Health & Safety Authority
- Oversee safety across field operations, construction activities, and contractors
- Lead incident investigations, audits, and corrective actions
- Deliver safety training, toolbox talks, and engagement initiatives
- Report on H&S performance and KPIs at senior level
