Location:
Office-based with site travel
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Health & Safety Manager to join a growing fit-out business. This is a key role where you will lead and develop the health & safety function across both office and project sites, ensuring full compliance and promoting a strong safety culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with all relevant H&S legislation, including PSCS / CDM
- Conduct site audits, inspections, and incident investigations
- Develop and implement H&S policies, procedures, and initiatives
- Review Safe Work Plans (SWPs) and support project teams
- Deliver training, toolbox talks, and inductions
- Support tender processes with required H&S documentation
- Liaise with regulatory bodies and manage safety documentation
- Promote best practice and continuous improvement across all sites
Requirements
- 5+ year's experience in H&S within Fit-Out, Construction, or similar
- Relevant H&S qualification (Level 7 or higher)
- Strong knowledge of Irish & UK safety legislation
- Experience with PSCS / CDM regulations
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Full driving licence and willingness to travel
Desirable: NEBOSH, Manual Handling Instructor, First Aid, Fire Warden, Working at Height
