Working hours: Mon-Thurs, 9 – 5:30pm & 9-5pm on Fridays
Salary: Open to Negotiations
Our client, who is based in Killarney Town, is seeking an experienced Head of Credit & Business Management to lead the credit and underwriting function while supporting the strategic growth of the business. This senior role is responsible for credit governance, regulatory compliance, operational excellence, and leading a high-performing team.
Responsibilities
- Lead the credit and underwriting function, ensuring sound lending decisions and regulatory compliance.
- Monitor portfolio performance and drive improvements to underwriting processes and service delivery.
- Develop relationships with brokers, dealers and key business partners.
- Support business growth through process improvements and collaboration with senior leadership.
- Maintain effective risk management, governance and internal controls.
- Produce management reporting and monitor key performance indicators.
Requirements
- Degree or professional qualification in Finance, Business, Banking or a related field.
- Senior management experience in financial services, banking or lending.
- Strong commercial, financial and credit risk knowledge.
- Proven leadership, analytical and decision-making skills.
- Experience improving operational performance and leading change.
This is a fully onsite role.
