Groups Coordinator & Travel Administrator – Kilkenny City
We are currently recruiting for a Groups Coordinator & Travel Administrator on behalf of a well-established travel company based in Kilkenny City. This is a full-time opportunity within a fast-paced and customer-focused environment, ideal for someone who is highly organised and enjoys coordinating detailed travel arrangements.
This role combines group travel coordination with day-to-day travel administration, offering variety and strong exposure across all aspects of the travel process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting customers with pre-travel queries and documentation
- Issuing and distributing travel documents
- Coordinating group bookings, itineraries, and schedules
- Liaising with airlines, hotels, transport providers, and suppliers
- Managing rooming lists and booking administration
- Troubleshooting issues to ensure a smooth customer journey
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year experience in a customer-facing or administrative role
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Confident communicator with strong written and verbal English
- Ability to work well in a busy, fast-paced environment
- Team player with a strong customer service focus
- Experience in travel is essential
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with travel systems (e.g. Travelport) beneficial
