Lead Safety at a National Level – Make a Real Impact
FRS Co-Op is looking for a driven, strategic Health & Safety leader to take ownership of safety standards across a diverse, nationwide organisation.
This is not a maintenance role — this is an opportunity to shape, influence, and elevate Health & Safety across multiple sectors, working directly with senior leadership and operational teams to deliver best-in-class performance.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Own and drive the company-wide Health & Safety strategy
- Ensure full compliance with Irish legislation and industry standards
- Act as the go-to expert for senior leadership and operational teams
- Lead audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations with clear outcomes
- Track performance metrics and continuously improve safety standards
- Champion a proactive, accountable safety culture across all levels
- Deliver engaging and impactful training programmes
- Manage relationships with regulators and external stakeholders
- Lead and develop the H&S function across a multi-site national operation
What We’re Looking For
- Degree or professional qualification in Health & Safety (or related)
- 5+ years’ experience in a senior H&S leadership role
- Strong knowledge of Irish Health & Safety legislation
- Proven ability to drive change and influence at all levels
- Experience across multi-site environments(Agri sector an advantage)
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Full clean driving licence (national travel required)
Desirable
- IOSH (or equivalent) membership
- Experience implementing ISO standards
