The Role
My client, an established organisation within the construction sector is seeking an experienced Graphic Designer to join their team. This is a full-time, permanent, hybrid position (after probation) based in Galway.
As the Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for designing and delivering compelling, brand-aligned visual and multimedia content across print, digital, and social platforms to effectively support marketing campaigns and business communications.
Tasks & Duties
- Create high-quality visual content for a wide range of materials, including print and digital ads, presentations, pitch decks, reports, brochures, flyers, banners, merchandise, press releases, and email campaigns.
- Design engaging, platform-specific content to grow and support social media channels such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and others.
- Work closely with marketing, content, and other teams to produce consistent, on-brand visuals for campaigns, product launches, conferences, and events.
- Turn complex ideas into clear, visually compelling content, including infographics and animations.
- Support the creation of multimedia assets such as video overlays, animated content, and interactive materials.
- Maintain brand consistency by ensuring all visual outputs follow established brand guidelines across the business.
Experience, Knowledge & Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Graphic Designer, Video Editor, or in a similar creative role is absolutely essential.
- Strong skills in design and video editing software, including Adobe Creative Suite and After Effects.
- A solid portfolio demonstrating high-quality graphic and video projects.
- Ability to tell clear, compelling stories through visual content.
- Good understanding of social media platforms and their specific design requirements.
- Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to take on feedback and collaborate effectively.
- Excellent time management and organisational abilities.
- Working knowledge of UX/UI design principles.
