General Operator / Production Operator
A leading manufacturing company in Galway is seeking a General Operator / Production Operator to join its Production and Assembly team. This is a permanent opportunity within a busy and structured manufacturing environment.
This is a hands-on production role involving manual handling, standing for extended periods and regular heavy lifting, so candidates should be comfortable working in a physically active role.
Operators will be cross trained across different areas of production and assembly and will work as part of a team focused on quality, efficiency and safety.

Key Responsibilities
- Follow the daily production plan provided by the supervisor
- Prepare work areas prior to the start of shift, including set-up, powder and trimming
- Follow standard operating procedures in line with quality guidelines
- Work with hand tools, machines and chemicals when trained
- Maintain high housekeeping standards in the work area
- Work collaboratively within a cross-functional production team
- Follow all health and safety procedures at all times
Requirements
- Ability to work in a proactive and efficient manner
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Commitment to quality and health and safety standards
- Experience using hand tools is desirable but not essential
- Previous experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment is advantageous
- Flexibility to work day, evening or night shifts depending on operational requirements
