Full-Time Mental Health Nurse –Co Dublin

FRS Recruitment is working alongside an inpatient addiction treatment unit in Dublin who require full-time nurses with experience in mental health or addiction. This service is a residential inpatient addiction treatment centre based in Lucan. The service provides inpatient detoxification and stabilisation programmes, group work and 1:1 sessions alongside key nursing. A high standard of communication skills is therefore required.

Position: Mental Health Nurse

Location: Lucan, Co. Dublin

Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week)

Salary: HSE payscales

Duration: 6 months, with possibility of extension to 12 months
Requirements:
-
Must be registered with NMBI
-
Experience in mental health services, particularly addiction, is required
-
General Nurses with experience in mental health settings will also be considered

Compliance process must be completed prior to commencing

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Role Responsibilities:

Participate in and facilitate group work and 1:1 sessions

Undertake patient assessments and care planning

Liaise with the consultant

Work autonomously within a structured, client-centred environment
