Financial Reporting Manager | Dublin | Hybrid

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Financial Reporting Manager to join a well-established organisation within the financial services sector.

This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing financial and regulatory reporting, maintaining a strong financial control environment, and leading a high-performing finance team. The successful candidate will work closely with senior stakeholders, ensuring accurate reporting while driving continuous improvement across finance processes, systems and controls.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation and delivery of accurate and timely financial, regulatory and management reporting
  • Ensure all reporting deadlines are achieved in line with internal and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain a strong financial control framework, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory obligations
  • Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities
  • Produce meaningful financial analysis and reporting to support strategic business decisions
  • Manage relationships with auditors, external service providers and key business stakeholders
  • Lead, mentor and develop a finance team, promoting collaboration and continuous professional development
  • Drive process improvements, automation and finance transformation initiatives to enhance efficiency and reporting quality
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen financial systems, controls and operational processes
  • Support business projects and provide finance expertise across cross-functional initiatives

About You

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CPA)
  • Minimum of 5 years' post-qualified experience, ideally within financial services, insurance or another regulated environment
  • Strong experience in financial and regulatory reporting
  • Knowledge of IFRS, regulatory reporting frameworks and financial controls
  • Experience with IFRS 17, Solvency II or similar regulatory reporting frameworks would be advantageous
  • Proven people management experience with the ability to lead, coach and develop high-performing teams
  • Excellent analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the business
  • Experience driving process improvements, finance transformation and systems enhancements
  • Strong Excel skills and experience working with ERP or finance systems
