Financial Controller | Kildare
I am working exclusively with a well-established, project-led infrastructure business based in Kildare who are looking to appoint a Financial Controller reporting directly to the CFO. This is a key hire for the business and will lead a team of 6 within a high-growth environment.
The organisation has scaled from approximately €40m to €100m turnover in recent years and is continuing to grow, creating a strong opportunity for someone who wants real visibility and impact at senior level.
This is a hands-on role with a strong focus on group tax, financial control and supporting live project environments. You will work closely with operational teams, managing performance across projects where timelines and contracts can shift, pause and evolve.
This role will suit someone coming from an infrastructure, engineering, construction or similar project-led environment who is comfortable working in a fast-paced setting and can adapt quickly while maintaining strong financial oversight.
Key responsibilities include leading and developing a team of 6, full ownership of month-end and management reporting, overseeing group tax compliance, budgeting and forecasting, cost tracking across projects, business partnering with operations, managing cashflow and driving improvements across financial systems and ERP.
You will be a qualified accountant with strong commercial awareness, proven experience managing teams, solid tax exposure and strong ERP experience. Experience working in site-based or project-driven environments is highly desirable.
