Our client is currently seeking a qualified Financial Accountant to join their growing finance team in Dublin.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious finance professional looking to further their career within a dynamic and collaborative environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in financial reporting, management accounts, financial controls, budgeting and forecasting, while supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the finance function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare accurate monthly management accounts and financial reports
  • Complete month-end close activities and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Support budgeting, forecasting and cash flow reporting
  • Assist with statutory, regulatory and VAT reporting requirements
  • Maintain strong financial controls and ensure compliance with internal policies and reporting standards
  • Produce financial analysis and variance reporting to support business performance and strategic decision-making
  • Partner with stakeholders across Finance and the wider business to deliver key financial insights
  • Support internal and external audit processes
  • Drive continuous process improvements through automation, systems optimisation and emerging technologies, including AI
  • Contribute to finance transformation projects and other business initiatives as required

About You

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CPA)
  • Minimum of 3 years' post-qualification experience in a Financial Accountant or similar role
  • Experience working within industry, financial services, insurance, technology or another regulated environment is advantageous
  • Strong knowledge of month-end reporting, reconciliations and financial controls
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting and management reporting
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite or similar
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships across the business
  • A proactive, organised individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and driving continuous improvement
